I am its fish........ (no rhyme)

A love so meaningful,
protected by a wall of flames
held captive inside my pounding heart
my body burning from it's heat, 
almost unbearable
yet unstoppable
relentless,
and timeless
Never ending

But now,
the the fiery barrier
between love and lasting 
burns no more, 
ashes,
Dust, 
Turned to ice,
Frozen, 
an iceberg, 
in an ocean of torment,
frustration
And I am its fish.
Thrown to the shore 
struggling for breath 
Drowning in air
Suffocating
left to perish
fighting for the will to go on

But then the fire returns 
Not a powerful shield
Nor protection from the cruel seas
It's a weapon 
A fire filled with destruction
A raging storm
Unstoppable
Unimaginable
Unspeakable
A bolt of lightening strikes the fish
And all is lost
