Poem -

I am not lost in you.

I figured if I stay in the darkness long enough
The light would eventually come looking for me
Shinning down upon everything I had missed
Then I would know the joy of it all,

But what darkness has no joy
when the moon casts shadows that dance

But what darkness has no joy
when the stars twinkle by chance

I am not lost in you night sky
must I ever question why

The sun won't shine upon my day
to Wilt a flower in such a way It hurts

For I love the smell of a garden
after the rain has fallen,

So weeping eyes that water long
are not in untrue aching
just taking so long,

I am not lost in you night sky

In darkness I still believe
That when the light comes for me
It is then I learn to breathe,

never questioning why

I am not lost in you night sky.
