I am POETRY

Poetry happens each and every day
Like rain pours to get rid of springs decay
It sort of brings about a harmonious atmosphere
And free's those who constantly live in fear
Those who were once captives 
To the phobia of expression
Those who came into this world to teach us valuable lessons
It is through the eyes of everyday people 
Where it finds its voice
Shedding light on injustices
Its about choice
And the many things that go wrong and right
The many things that pertain to the light
It changes people 
It brings about hope
Gravitates love
Reminding people to cope
Its a way of life 
A outlet to freedom
Things people witness seldom
I am a poet
Words run through my veins
You are a poet
You give life a new name
And if language permits me
I will personify life phonetically
Breaking the silence
Ending violence
My pen, it doesn't conversate with me 
It flows freely decisively
I am poetry
My life bares testimony
