Poem -

If my words had power...

If my words could save the world
If my pen would never run dry
I would write on the lamp post and the walls and in the streets
I would write about love and its destructive characteristics
I would write about the homeless and there unfortunate misfortune
I would write about the nation, how it is blessed and cursed
I would write about God and his selflessness
If my words could changed the world
I would write about you and me and how we different
I would write for the black people so the world could see there shame
I would write for the white skinned so the world could see there innocence and guilt.
My words
They would evoke emotion so powerfully
So courageously
So bodly
I would write for those who cannot speak
I would write for those who cannot see
I would write so pasionately
If my words had that power
I would write
and
write
and write
