Ahhh Jason, this is stunning!! It's fantastic that Greg's poem inspired this.

I am the shadow dying in her light.

This last line gave me goose-pimples...I really Love it, you have such an amazing talent.

Lorna...in many ways you are the reason I keep writing. Having a reader like you out there keeps my hand reaching for my pen!

Is there anything more rewarding than being inspired by another writer?! Greg's beautiful and intriguing story resonated with me so much that I was moved to write this on the same theme.

Thank you so much for all your support and kindness. And for the record, you're quite the amazing talent yourself!!

All my love,
J xxxxxxxxx

Greg,
I'm very glad you like it. I was so touched by your original poem; it resonated with me in so many ways: that I was moved to write myself.
With it, you've created a beautiful and intriguing story and, truth be told, there is nothing in my poem which isn't suggested by some aspect or reference in yours.

So really...I should thank you.

Thank you.

J ;)

My Dear Friend Jason,

Who knows what evil lies in the hearts of man?

The Shadow knows.

For he lived in darkness half a millennium

But then a golden haired beauty brought joy to him

Yet she resisted all his year long charms

Eschewed all thought of being in his arms

One night he ventured far off base

And kissed her breast instead of face

Enraged she called an exorcist

"Please cast him out, so he won't exist"

And so he left, the medium played no part

He went away, because she broke his heart

For The Shadow knew where evil lies

She'll have him ne'er again, no matter her reprise

Peace and Love,

Larry xxx
