Who am i ?
Am i a product of my environment?
If so how do i escape all i ever known.
The trenches, the ghetto, whatever you wanna call it.

Lately i been questioning the man in the mirror.
Letting society mold me is one of my biggest fears.
A generation of living to please the world.
Will i fit in or stand out?
Whatever i am just make sure i never have my hand out.
Who am i?
Bet you missed when i hopeless and homeless.
Now those smiles arent genuine you thought i wouldn't notice.
Its amazing how people can be happy when you're down and sad when you're up.
Been friendless lately and i think its time to give up.
Born alone, live alone, die alone.
If its God's Plan who am I to ruin it.

A poet, a father, a loyal friend seems like backstabbing is the new trend.
As long as i am comfortable in my own skin.
