I, But Love My Dad?

I, But Love My Dad?

Β
Openly, one reclassifies what's there
that troubles them, when they think they're sad
but they never ever think of where
they're bound past death, or maybe wish they had?
Β
Why are they, themselves, feeling predisposed
with mindfulness? When they're prepared to grasp,
not only their minute concern for closed
awareness, actually they collapse
Β
all other ways of thinking. They confuse
all life in general, relating to
just their immediate world, where they choose
discussing truths with just small points of view.
Β
I knew of dads that brought up kids this way
and these young lads then grew becoming void
of all insights, openly on display,
but should know how to question truths, like Freud.
Β
For only after one's epiphany,Β
find dad's inherent verity the seed
of one's discovery that now will free
themselves from adopting all of their dad's creed.
