I Cried

I Cried

As our world's collide
I swallowed my pride
Something new to try
To myself I lied
Then cried and cried

As time went by
Your absence I couldn't abide
My heart mistimed
An ebbing tide
So I cried and cried

Then you arrived
And walked inside
My joy unconfined
To be at my side
To be my bride

Then I cried
Then I cried
