Poem -

I Cried Myself Asleep Last Night

I Cried myself asleep last night, hoping that our love would shine bright.

I know you are miles away tonight, but I'll never know for sure if our love is right.

I realize I have doubts about the last few nights, but I need to hear from you, because I cried myself asleep last night.

This morning I woke up without you and thought, "This is not is not right."

When I write you, I want to tell you, "I miss you and when you get back I'll kiss you. But I'll let that be in the middle of the night, because I cried myself asleep last night.

If our love really shines bright, and that if things between us really turn out right, maybe when you call in the middle of the night, I'll read you this poem and then you'll know,

that I cried myself asleep last night.

Then you say- "Honey that is perfectly alright, because, I, too, cry myself asleep last night.
