In Need Of A Man

I am a mere woman standing on the horizon;
who has known that love can hurt immensely.
She always dreams of the perfect mate,
who not only went out with her once on a date,
and in return never asked for her play with him on their date.
So she kissed him on the cheek and flew so away so fast,
that he could not speak.
She still wants that man,
and prays to God every night;
for an absolution that will always make things all right.
For he,
it's only a need,
that he needs to fulfill;
so he can catch this absolution,
and sing to the dove,
about a love from heaven above.
He just wants top teach the dove that there is no need to be scared of love.
