Imagine

Imagine a place,
a place that you would call home.

Imagine something that you would like to be;
a pastor,
veterinarian,
a writer,
or a teacher.

Imagine being married;
having or raising children.

Imagine no fear;
no fear of crime,
no fear of hate,
no alcohol or drugs.

For you look at life;
and you realize that you can't change the world;
until you change yourself.

Imagine all types of people;
people of different colors,
agreeing with each other that they want to change.

For if people could change their ways;
we could change the world.

This poem I wrote back in high school and until I was able to go through all of them I noticed that I forgot to add this one to my list. It is on the list now.
