Poem -

I did as you said

Yes, I did,
I took my pills.
Like a good kid
Obeyed them all.
I slept last night.
I went to school.
I did not fight.
I ate my food.

I did as you said.
You said it was right.
Right now I see red,
See red as my sight.
My sight may be blurred,
Be blurred as can be.
Can be a harsh word,
Harsh word won’t hurt me.
Hurt me, if you dare,
You dare to just try.
Just try if you care,
“You care.” Is a lie.
A lie I was told,
Was told that correct,
Correct will bring gold,
And gold brings respect.
Not right.
