I do, I die

How can you be lost in a world that you've known for so long, 
There are so many elements that will make you less strong.
I used to think it was cool that my parents are so blind,
Now I just wish my pain they could find.
Life at this point is a do or die situation,
Either I can take life for a ride like a long vacation,
or I can take control of the reins and make it to my destination.
I have the same dream that every girl has to be a wife and a mother,
But now I have to save what I have to recover.
You may have tried to drag me down to your level,
But the power I have with in can over come this devil.
But this is something that everyone of has to learn,
For it's the only way you will ever make the turn.
