i dont believe

I don’t believe in god,
However, his lips had tasted like sweet heaven,
And his eyes the color of the branches laid bare in the winter,
His skin so smooth, his scent too captivating,
It was as if,
He is a supernova and,
 I was his explosion,
I do not believe in god,
But, I do believe in poetry
And he was the one and only thing,
Worth writing about to me…
But nor did I believe when people said,
It hurts to have a broken heart,
Until the day you left me,
From that day on,
I will never be,
 the same..
My soul aches for you,
And I wish yours did too.
