I Don’t Belong Here

Alone

I Don’t Belong Here

Where do I belong?

Rejected.
Unaccepted.
Never to be known.
[—Unworthy of your love.]

Cursed to walk,
This earth alone.

Waiting.
Creating,
Memories that never
Seem to last.

Fading whispers
Upon broken dreams.
Are all that
Haunt me now.

Bereft.
Left,
To ponder
Reality’s true meaning.

I know not
Where I belong,
But, I know
I don’t belong here.
