Poem -

I don’t know what to say

I don’t know what to say

Like eyes staring out through glass
Watching life unfold, blinking
Like it’s all filtered spotlessly gray
And only gains colour
When red spills out from her wrist

Like all sound drowns inside
And only her thoughts persist
Too little time, all spent thinking
Thinking thinking thinking
But nothing to say

Like all shapes are melting together
And becoming indistinguishable
Even the weather
Like something searing, inextinguishable
That quietly burns her from within
