Many faces...
No one moved when trouble showed up...
Eyes were open...
Lips were sealed...
Feet frozen in place...
The crowd began to circle and pats on the back were felt...
Bloodied and bruised...
Face throbbing...
What would you have done if I was killed?
I remember asking...
A voice to a face I couldn't see answered...
We would have called the police...
I can't believe you're still standing another voice said...

Sorry, I disappointed you...
Had you placed a bet...
You would have lost your money?
Who was that and what did they want?
Someone asked...
I have no idea...
I thought you knew who it was...
No...
We would have helped you then...
You showed me...
I could handle it myself...

When people on the street watch as if they bought a ticket to some thing...
You find yourself seeing these people that you were a friend too...
Then reality strikes when the truth be told they were only using you for their gain...
You begin to question yourself and wondering why it was that incident that it took to show the truth...
Then I began to be thankful because honestly probably wouldn't have noticed if they weren't all there at once...
The men also just stood there...
After the shock...
You walk away a little injured but also kind of proud of yourself...
Another thing was that I surprised everyone including the attacker...
That was cool!

it is unbelievable that people would stand and
watch someone being attacked and do nothing
we live in such a sad world for that to happen
I could not walk on by and see someone being hurt
if i did it would haunt me that i did`nt try to help
