i dream (about the truth)

the other night I dreamt about you.

but you were showed by light,

so angelic, so beautiful.

but I wasn't the truth.

how could you still my heart,

and not expect the pain?

how could you put it under lock and key

and not expect that it might want out.

every night it howls and screams

to be let go.

but it comes out as a whisper barely audible to the human ear.

it try's to break the chains,

but they're unbreakable.

but the truth is,

I love you.

but I cant do anything about it

so I dream,

I dream about the truth.

how it would be,

how it should be.

but its not really the truth.

so I dream,

dream about you.
