Dreams of someday making it big

a big house white picket fence 

dog, wife & kids 

I GIVE UP

working a 9-5 where I hate my boss

who waits for the next time I show up late

fart, cough, or call off to fire me 

I GIVE UP

feeling forced to live in a society where people 

die violently being followed by an ignorant,

racist, sexist, and arrogant society like being 

born into poverty wasn't enough 

I GIVE UP

prayer that go unanswered from me and my 

ancestors and their ancestors, ancestors

at night I've cried and prayed in pain hopes and faith went down the drain 

feeling like I've lost everything 

no words of joy or sorrow can heal this 

pain if this to you isn't depressing enough then I GIVE UP..!!
