I keep praying

There is no time to smile, I keep saying
There is no time for hoping…I keep praying
What was once possible, has become no more
What was once dream-able, has washed a shore
Seemingly drowned in misery…I wait
The pain of my reality…I hate
My wrongs and rights don’t get along
My sins and righteous ways…together don’t belong
In a state of mind that’s confusing
The lords name I keep using
I feel the shortness in my breath
I’m sure in me there is nothing left
There is no time to smile, I keep saying
The is no time for hoping…I keep praying
Love and hate are not mixable
My destiny and fate are unfix-ableÂ
It’s looking dim
My tomorrow is looking grim
I kneel to Him, appealed to Him
Said grace before my meal…to Him
But my soul feels redirected
My heart feels unprotected
So Bury me with a smile, so you know I am happy
And if I don’t  make it in…then in Hell you can find me
There is no time to smile, I keep saying
There is no time for hoping….but I keep praying!

Thank you all for your comments as we all grow as a cosmofunnel family. Each of us share a very important talent that a site like this allows us to showcase. Continue with that "good shit" and every time your pen writes, think about a life you could possibly change, or even for a moment u may make someone sad become happy.
I really enjoyed this. Great work!
Thank you Jessica.
I like the opposites in this poem, because we have these contradictions in our personalities. Certain lines are repeated which I also like, this is a deep and thoughtful poem, great work!
