I Love an Idea

I loved an illusion,
Not a man made of flesh and blood.
I loved a structure,
With its heart made out of wood.

I loved a ghost,
Not a man that I could reach.
I loved a character,
Just some other part of me.

I loved a dream,
Something created in my subconscious mind.
I loved a creature,
Not a man of my own kind.

I love a memory,
Which is little more than lies.
I love idea,
And ideas will never die.
