Poem -

i move, i grow

i move, i grow

Whoosh. The moving truck slides shut with
all of our precious belongings within.

This finalizes it, I'm sure.
There's nothing else I can do.
I turn off the lights as I shut the door.
It's the hardest to walk through.

I said goodbye to everyone, I'm sure.
I walk outside, maybe I forgot one thing?
I leave scuff marks on the floor.
I give the door one more ring.

I think this is best .
I'll forget all their faces.
I'll forget how they dressed.
I'll leave all but no traces.
