I Need My Coffee

I Need My Coffee

As I drag myself out of bed in a morning

And do natures routine

Then its dressing gown on and wobble down stairs to the coffee that's waiting for me

It makes me feel all warm inside like the bed that I've just left

Without my comforting coffee in a morning,it would be a comfort theft

Once I'm watered, the day to come,I take it in my stride

Then it's off to work to pay the bills and the holidays for which we thrive
