Poem -

I Need to Heal

I Need to Heal
Hush my pain no more agony,

Iying on the floor crying,

Crying because my tears are free,

All I did was to sit and whine,

         I need to heal.

The night was stormy,

The clouds were swampy,

The stars were pale,

All I did was to blame,

         I need to heal.

Hours of total darkness,

Looking a forlorn figure,

The guilt is burning,

All I did was to curse,

         I need to heal.

The wounds are bleeding,

I have not been munching,

Running out of energy,

Perhaps all I need is a clergy,

All I need is to get up,

         I have to heal.
