In generous light and with the ocean breeze I picture you.
Hair blown back from a handsome brow
Eyes squinting at the sky.
Those dazzling blues caught me off guard
When I completely fell for you.
In the moment it takes to breathe in a breath in the
Twinkling of an eye
Magic swirled around us and a bond created for life.
Adventure and romance sound like a book review.
But that and more was there in every day we were together sure.
Long years passed and love was tried we did not always pass the test.
But looking back at what we had it was better than all the rest
