Poem -

The War Bunker

Seeing into you like gazing through swirling water.
The way you change course and move away from obstacles.
it encourages me to see you and try to meet on solid ground.
 Leaving the fabricated structures behind.
How the plain truth of both our actions looks so ugly in light.
I find I am cringing at myself and the way I sound.
Petulant and almost whining with dismay.
Like the useless wringing of hands at a disaster.
Does your love contain a cure for bouncing bettys left in our path ?
With a hand grenade and shrapnel
We are pierced.
Like the ammunition of our separation
The effects cut deep.
