I regret sleeping on that couch

I regret sleeping on that couch

I woke up on a couch
Hot in the room the leather stuck to my pores
Dont tell me, I know I'm such a louche
I woke up on a couch that wasnt yours

The dog laid across my feet smelt of dead summer grass
I wanted to leave the night before
He begged me to stay, God he's so crass
I woke up on a couch that wasnt yours

I'm sure he's comfortable up in his bed
I escape out the unfamilar door
All the tears start to shed
I woke up on a couch, i wish it was yours
