Poem -

I still love you

I still love you

While I feel
how do you fleeΒ from my arms
a blanket of loneliness and fear
cover the cold that causes me
knowing that you no longer love me
I lost the battle
if my prayers and words were not enough.

What's the point now
to shed more tears?
If your destination is leaving
my heart will not be the door
that prevents you from continuing the march
ahead you are free.

I know that if today you are looking for
new motives to your soul
maybe tomorrow you will come back
and discover the love that I give you.
