I think... Energy?

Just a theory among myself and others

Do we really die? I really don't want to think so. I just think honestly it's one big lie!
I think what dies is the body we are assigned to, Just think about this will you?!
We are energy. Everything that exists is energy,
How can we have past lives… if there was ever only ONE you and me?
We don't die but our hosts do! I wonder sometimes if that's why we get… deja..vu?
It's all so interesting, that right now it all might not make sense
Because physically we are real, but physically we don't exist
Just follow along, I do apologize for this being so intense!
But when people reproduce, they aren't creating a "life" technically
The energies are divided, yet shared to create a whole new host…ee
That's how it all begins, in the form of a peanut that turns into a "human baby"
If it still doesn't quite make sense yet, it's got you at least thinking immensely
This energy we are made of had multiplied too quickly
That's how this energy started to become known as humanity
Everything over times evolves, just like "humans" did from apes and monkeys
But no one ever stops and thinks about how it all started from mysterious energies
What are we made up of really? And how far back do we have to go in history?
Am I the only one who finds this intriguing to say, none the least?
So believing that I am this energy that just searches for a new body when the time comes
It makes me feel like I'm not so scared to "die" because it's a figure of imagination;
Imagination of the eye of the beholder
Just think about this… and maybe that's when you'll start to understand;
the next time you're walking alone and it feels like you're being watched
But then you slightly turn your head to look over your shoulder and;
there's nothing there, it's just the energies floating around;
Trying to find it's next hostess, that's how they gain the ability to touch
Before we pass away we ask everyone who surrounds us not to forget about us
Which is obviously impossible because we always say things like until we meet again and such
We are eternal because we are energy, the bodies we form and take over are not
That's why when we think we lose someone we love so much
We unknowingly never think twice before we find ourselves saying the words, "gone, but never forgotten"
And although to you this all just might sound weird and crazy
And this probably is making your mind boggle and your vision a little hazy
But this is how I want to imagine how "life" was originally designed to be created
Because any other way just seems to be nothing short of rotten
