I Walk I Run

I walk I run I see the sun.

I walk I run but there's no fun.

I walk I run I sing along.

I sing along to a brand new song.

I walk I run and then I gaze you would say this is quite a maze.

I walk left I run right.

You would say I put up quite a fight.

I walk I run I see the sun.

I walk I run but there's no fun.

This is not my best right but it still has a incredible story behind it. I wrote this because this was how I felt from being abused. when I say I walk I run I see the sun I walk I run but there's no fun. I mean when a lot of people told me everything was going to stop I actually believed them but then at the end of the day I just ended up getting beat again so I lost hope. so I use that as being the way I feel. I am only 16 and I have not found a way to increase my ability to right poems and them make a huge impact. But I try my best and that's all that matters. I have found in the past that sharing my story with other people helps me get through the day. It helps remind me that I'm not alone in this. Anyways hope you like it.

I agree with DB. Taking the time to explain why something has so much meaning to you will move a person.

It moved me as well. And trying your best is all that matters. As long as you are proud of it nothing else matters. I am sorry you've had to go through such things. Unfortunately life isn't fair at all. With all of us here you will never be alone :) We're always here if you need to talk,

I do like it. A very powerful message and I love it :)
