I want to be with you tonight;
but there are too many things going on,
so we are apart tonight.

Your texts make me feel so special in the daylight,
that I don't have the guts to tell you how much that I miss you in the daylight.

It doesn't really matter how much I want to be with you,
no matter rain or shine,
I am almost afraid of telling you that I miss you and love you at the same time.
I sleep and dream of you tonight;
only to find that you're not there when I wake up a fright.

I want to be with you most nights,
but I'm scared that I would scare you off if I told you how much that care for you,
in the middle of the night.

I want to be near you most of the time,
since I feel safe with you whenever you're around,
not just in the night.
