I want to divorce myself from my feelings,
Numb myself from the pain
Put a stop to my emotions
Perhaps then I’ll be normal again.

I want to be rid of my fears
Rid myself of self- doubt
Not feel happiness or sadness
Just see the World without

Being caught up in my emotions
I want my feelings to just go away-
I want to live with purpose and reason:
My feelings just get in the way.
