I Wanted Forever

Broken hearted, Shattered Soul,
Tears streaming down your face out of control.
Thoughts of you a constant ache,
memories of what we had, its hard to shake.

I gave you all my heart and all my trust,
But now it's gone, shattered like dust.
My world is dark, no light in sight,
Living without you just doesn't feel right.

I wanted forever with you by my side,
But now i am all alone, Nowhere to hide.
Can't think about tomorrow,  It's all in the past.
For once I was actually happy  thats how i knew it was never going to last. 

Now I try to pick up the pieces one by one
Trying to move on, Trying to be done.
But every step I take my heart is still with you,
Holding on to hope, hoping that we will start all new.

So here I am still hurting and still feeling lost,
Searching for love at no cost.
But deep down inside i know this is true,
I gave my all to you and thats something I Will always do.
