I Watched Her

As she - without a doubt- Heard those dreadful words today,
Finding out she has cancerĀ the dr would say.She was so strong about it all,
as if sh'e only taken a fall She lost her hair...but didn't care.
I watched her...Yes I did. She's my child...my only one
The tears were in control...Whats done is done.Ā
The joy of my life- Fighting every step of the way
every-single-day. And now 3 years have past since she
walked away from the chemo she last had.Ā
Everything is wonderful. She doesn't feel bad.Ā
The cancer could come back- Its not a subject that we share
even though its always there. we thank the Lord for it all
and live our lives without a care.
