I will Be Okay
I will be okay
though their
hands wrap
around
my neck
in the cold dark night
as I lay vulnerable
asleep
I will be okay
while they
lie in wait
to destroy
the bounties
I have taken
through creativity
and aspiration
I will be okay
standing before
their fake inquiries
sheathed with jealousy
inspired by ill intent
funded by dishonest
means
I am not a hero
nor a villain
notwithstanding
the consensus
out there
I am
Just living
aiming my ambitions
skywards
knowing
I will be okay

Oh Greg, what competitors? Poetry? Business? People who talk about you and try pulling you down do it because they are jealous! There's a lot of nasty people in this world. Lots of good ones too, though. Hope you are okay xx
It is business. I am pretty well known in Southern California. This is because I do good work and I have a flair for advertising. Some people out there are not happy with this and I got an anonymous phone call making implied threats with vague allegations. I am trying not to let it get in my head. I do well because I am sincere in what I do.
Sounds like a jealous person. The truth will always out but be careful, these people can be dangerous. Hope they go away soon xx
