Waking up from a long deep sleep
No longer do I feel the need to weep
Feeling like a brand new me 
Now that I have found the key

Eyes wide open after so long 
My heart finally sings it's new song 
I'm on the journey back to me
Finally feeling truly free 

My heart is open 
So is my mind 
I'm saving a life 
This time it's mine 

Everything seems brighter 
Now that I've made this choice

The flowers small much sweeter now 
I smell them along my way 
I remember them so fondly
