Poem -

Raindrops...

Raindrops on roses
and blood stains on linens
Powder white skin
Where scars are kept hidden
Meals left on tables
And cries left unseen
These are a few of our terrible things

When a car comes
Or the rain falls
When I'm all alone
I turn to one of these terrible things
And I don't feel as alone

When someone yells
You ignore me
When no one is home
I look to one of these terrible things
It makes me feel right at home
