I will wait no longer

-- I'll wait no longer --
I made a Promise, that I would wait For You,
So my concerns and thoughts, I will hide.
But now, I’ll do what I want to do,
I had once, made you my bride.
And now I refuse, to slow you down,
You say, that friends are all we will be.
And that you’ll always, keep me around,
You say there’s nothing, like you being free.
We once were taken, to a faraway place,
which I had waited, all my life to share.
Somewhere, where you ‘were dawn in lace,
Now if that day, never comes, who cares?
You promised to me, you would take my hand,
and I gave trust to you, to be your one and only.
Now that you leave, me feeling less than a man,
You were placed on a pedestal, and I, left lonely.
Jim

Good Morning Shirley,
My friend, it was helpful people such as yourself and a conglomeration of others, i.e. Cosmo, Blast, Hoff, Divine Human, Sunshine, Melissa, Molly, Dale and a host of others who supplied me with a cache full of support during situations that a rose back in the day, that was somewhat hard to fathom having to deal with amongst family members, after several back to back deaths. People such as you, rendered advice that proved to be very valuable and well appreciated in time of need. Outside advice from you folks, is what made me remember that there was still, the ongoing world out there and that no matter the situation, or who may leave this earth in way of death, I was still alive, with breath and needed to regain control of all my faculties as well as the life I had not only placed on hold but I had allowed myself to sank so deep into depression, it felt as though part of me had given up on life as well. You and the rest were life savers and enriched me with advice on many issues, that sometimes family members aren't able to supply, due to being in the same boat of mixed up feelings as I was. There were things pointed out, that wasn’t stated or addressed by grieving family members.
Again Thanks Shirley,
Jim Arnold
Thanks Jimmy, you always soften my soul, and humble me with your comments.
May you never fall out of this love you hold dear in your heart. For it births a new you at each bend.
Cheers

Shirley,
It's you that humbles all that visit this site, with your words of wisdom and the manner in which you approach each comment rendered, it is always within the same format that Cosmo Funnel has aligned itself,(in a league of your own). I can say this because i was one of those seeking answers. This site, as well as the comments you post, is what allows others to feel help is always on the way, It's people you most least expect and who receives nor wants any form of monetary gain for services rendered and you are one of those people. Shirley whether you believe this or not, your comments, (amongst a few others), are part of the main reason people keeps visiting this site. Thanks again to yourself and Cosmo, sometimes just being able to talk to sensible people, in which there is a ton on this site, is all a person needs to become whole again.
Sincerely,
Jimmy
