Poem -

I Will Walk the Mile

Life is a blur, full of confusion,Β
Cannot tell reality from illusion.Β
Cannot define what's real or what's fake.Β
Do not know if we're a mistake.Β
Do not know if we're meant to be,Β
Into our future I cannot see.Β
\So what if we are the real McCoy,Β
Don't pull strings like Pinocchio, "I'm a real boy."Β
Yes just like you I do feel the pain,Β
And hate when we fight; it drives me insane.Β
\But I'll be there for you through all of life's trials,Β
For you alone will I walk the mile.Β
Take my hand we will walk through it all,Β
And I will pick you up when you slip and fall.Β
\I know not what our future may hold,Β
But love last forever or so I'm told.Β
So together forever is just what we'll be,Β
For my love is as deep as a bottomless sea.
