I wished

I wished that you were there when I close my eyes I wished that you were there so I could say my final goodbyes I also wish that you were there at night when I said my prayers I really wished that you was there to hug me and kiss me and say baby it's alright and to tuck me in and say I love you good night I wished that you were there to see me fall in love for the first time so when I got my heart broke you could have told me having my heartbroken should be a crime I wish that you were there for my 16th birthday hell I even wonder what you would have had to say I wish that you would have hugged me and kissed me instead of every time I came around all you could do was dismiss me I wish that things were better than they are but nothing has changed it's still the same so far I wish that wishes could come true maybe they don't maybe they do but I'll stop wishing because mine didn't not even a few.
