“I Wish I Could Write The Music”, that is playing in my heart;
The softened sounds of passion, that so long ago did start!
On that starlit October evening, the first time our lips embraced;
The notes of love began then, through my heart and Soul they raced!
.
It took but four days to realize, that our quests had come to end;
The stars had joined us together, for our lives united spend!
We pledged our love forever, then sealed it with a kiss;
With vows of faithful fidelity, and the promise of pure bliss!
.
Now, twenty-six years later, those melodies still play;
My heart beats to their rhythms, that will never go away!
They’re the songs of both our singing Souls, so happy with their fate;
For after forty years of searching, they finally found their mate!
