Poem -
I wish I was home
Blooming humans
Sending me up among the stars
I was perfectly happy
Chasing my ball in the local park .
Blooming humans
Sending me up to the moon
They have no idea how uncomfy
It is for a dog in a space suit .
A quick write imagining how dogs must have felt in space ! Hoping any who read find interesting and all have had a nice Sunday , Chris :)

Awe Chris I have thought about the animals sent up in space before now. What that experience must of felt like for them. Thanks for highlighting how animals have been used to advance our space exploration. Nicely done and hope you have a lovely Sunday also

Oh god Chris reading this I'm worried they are sending more dogs up...I hope not!! The Russian dog...Leka?? years ago ...that was inhumane and cruel....they have no voice to protest.

I totally agree with Marion. Such a sade fate... I remember watching a documentary about it. Nasty stuff. Theres a point that you'd think humans would not cross. Unfortunately, that's the one problem, we are only human. Powerful stuff Chris, with or without intention, a deep write though an animals eyes.
