Ice

Ice

A burst of ice fills my skin
Falling, falling, deep within
Blurry images cross my sight
As I watch with all my might

As my breath passes by
My life, it flashes before mine eye
I shiver slightly, my skin so cold
Shoulders blue, with pain untold

Like a rock, down and down
With no smile, no crown, no life, so drown
My skin damp, my heart ice
Sinking like a grain of rice

The path is hard
Though I could try
But in the end,
I might just die

I really liked this piece... it made me feel like I was plunging into the depths of the sea. A coldly brilliant poem. Love your work!
