Poem -
If
If tomorrow had no promise and all the clouds vanished from the sky.
If the light was lost in hidden shadows and no one left to be asking why.
If the wind became a whisper echoing the silence of a distant day.
What chance does a loving heart have,
without a care as you walked away.
If the ocean was void of life and all that was green died under the sun.
If the blue sky became so toxic the rain dropped poison on everyone.
If evil became the latest fashion and all that was good became yesterday's
Hope.
What chance does a loving heart have
as you quickly vanished like a puff of smoke.
