Poem -

If I could go back

If I could go back to my cherishable days

The times where my life was heaven on earth

I would only change my thoughts on the future

Telling my young, innocent self to treasure his time

But as a child, to never know how much regret I would go through

I only wished to be a man and to live on my own

Well, now I am one and my hopeful thoughts of it are diminished

Daniel!  Great write!  I can truly relate to your words…we just don't get a chance to return to our days of innocence…I just didn't know how good I had it when I was wishing to grow up and get away from my parents!  Now, I just intend to live well because I have accumulated much WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE.

Life is good!
