If Love Were A Law

If Love Were A Law

If we only followed our heart
It would be broken A lot
If we only went with our thoughts
It would be the worst thing

If Love were a law
We would all fall
Condemned
If hate was illegal
We would all be criminals

Everyone has a dark side
Everyone has some kind of light
They hold inside

We are human
And whatever happens,
Happens
But it's up to us
To try not to do evil again
The best we can

If love were A law
We would all be
Criminals
If hate were illegal
We'd all be condemned
When we fall

If love were A law
We'd all be criminals
If hate was hated
We'd all be illegal
