"If, For A Single Moment..."

If, for a single moment, I sensed disappointment in her, I'd feel the truth in it
And rushing to her rescue, would not abate the disappointment, in me, that I had gained
Through the symbiotic nature of our souls, having intertwined, become the same
I simply could not bare the pain in her discomfort, I'd paint "the sky" to make her smile
And all the while I'd know exactly where her heart was, for she's set up camp, in mine
Giving me an opportunity to see exactly what she see's, if she looked into my eyes
I suppose it's an unfair advantage, but then, it seems to me, quite wise
To explore the nature of our divine love, gifted to us, from above the stars
Into the outer cosmos, where these mountains of ice, are floating safely, so far
Hers, is my only truth, when it comes to exploring the depth's, of required romance
She's an expert, and I am her plebe, following her charming commands
And helping me understand, that it's not HER disappointment that I'm feeling
It's the feeling of happiness, that creates her contentedness, in her, believing
That i'll always be around, whenever she's feeling down
It's this! she needs, to keep her free and dreaming
So if, for a single moment, I sense a little disappointment
I will always be sure to be there
to help her see the truth
