If We Could

If we could bring back the dead. Guardian angels we wish where by our side instead. I even wish it deep in my slumber laying in bed. Then I am awakened by a vortex of light guiding my path ahead. "It had to happen this way" a specter like voice said. Goosebumps made a trail all the way up my spine to the base of my head. The familiar voice practically made my heart leap out of my chest and drop to the ground like a ton of lead. A voice as sweet as the honey I know that it's owner loved spreading on lightly toasted bread. Then all of a sudden the audible spectre disappeared from the ear canals embedded in my head. Things happen for a reason so I must be your guardian angel we have a bond connecting us like an unbreakable adamantium thread. My tears fall up to Heaven  as my sadness is replaced by a joy celebrating it's life with fireworks of it's favorite colors, golden and red.
