Poem -

If You Only Knew What I know

Take me back to the Flood
So I can wink at Noah
And set the crowds aflame
Till God shut the ship's door

Let me sit down in Sodom
Far enough to be safe
Not from the man, but shame
And see the final sift

Lingering at the cross
In view the Son of God
To survey all the lost
And those who reject grace

Sitting on Jesus' bow
On the slave boat at sea
Regulating the how
The twain became their one

Take me to deepest woe
Just to ponder anew
The depths where God will go
Just to save me and you
