(iii) water unseen

(iii) water unseen

Water unseen beneath sands,
                untouchable sphere,
yet strongly felt though nothing much
                moves −

there is life among lines
that are not yet fully grown,

lines flirting with images,
making my wealth being older,

a child holds no words yet
to cross the borders.

Water hidden as droplets of
time underneath grass −
nomore swimming in the pool,

yet these words I am writing
are sourced in those waters,
to reach out to you:
a child, playing, unknowing
of all the roads
to me who had lost game for life

Roots sprout from my heart,
                reaching for the child’s waters,
                who will survive time
as long as we are one.

Finally, now we look and
laugh at each other from our own side
of the boundery, I exist now that
he no longer lies hidden –

(wyrd, the child stirs:
because she is still there, in many droplets,
I almost phoned my mother,
six years after she
                crossed her final  border
and left my time)

Thank you, yeah, it is funny, how one tends to hang on to old habits, especially when you had already c. Sheompletely lost your mum to Alzheimer done four yers prior to her liberation from a mere physical form🤣😭😇. She as an artist and poet too would have been proud with my escaoe from the deep, dark hole through poetry and psychological elbow grease by my wife and me. There are two more parts coming, I need to get around to translate them into English (and get the translation approved by my severe critic🤣). Make 2023 well worded🤗

A truly moving read John. I just loved the use of water. It gave a beautiful visual to the entirety of this piece. Your journey sounds fluid as you reflect back and regain who you truly are. What an inspiring read this is my friend. You and your wife are doing wonderful things. All the very best to you both x
